PM orders to find financial sources for May decree projs by Jul 6
MOSCOW, May 23 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has ordered the Finance Ministry and the Economic Development Ministry to find sources of financing national projects encompassed by the president’s May decree by July 6, the government’s press office said Wednesday.
President Vladimir Putin earlier signed a decree on Russia’s national goals and strategic development tasks till 2024 in which he ordered the government to ensure the country’s entry into the top five of global economies, a higher than global rise of the national economy, and inflation not exceeding 4%.
The government is expected to prepare national projects on a number of directions, including demographic, healthcare, education, housing construction, science, and digital economy, by October 1.
The ministries and other relevant bodies should also submit drafts of the government’s main directions of activity and macroeconomic forecast until 2024 by September 1.
